Special Day

The wedding went so perfectly smoothly. Everything turned out exactly how we wanted it too, even if the weather didn't quite cooperate. Though the wind and snow lashed, we were sealed for time and all eternity and we even got pictures, which will follow shortly:) Thanks to everyone who made it an amazing day for us! We love you all!

Less than a WEEK!!!

So, We officially have less than a week till we tie the knot! I'm sure you all understand but for my sake...I'M SO EXCITED! I think Zach is too;) For the most part everything is done and taken care of, just a few little straggler things to finish. We just have to make it through the school/work week and we're off for a good month or so. Hope we see everyone there and thanks for everyone's help!

Family Pics

While in Flag my family decided to take some family pictures for the Christmas cards. We had a little fun teasing and messing around but all in all I think we are a dang good lookin bunch!

Temple

The Friday after Thanksgiving I was able to go through the temple for the first time! Zach was there with me as well as many of my loved family members. It was an amazing experience and I am happy to share the eternities with Zach! I look forward to going back again and again.

Thanksgiving!!!

Zach and I were able to drive down to AZ to visit my family for Turkey Day. It was an AWESOME trip. We had fun in warm Mesa eating and visiting with family, not to mention a couple of good card games! I also enjoyed showing Zach a little more of my hometown. Can't wait to make the long trip again!!!

This is Zach's favorite pic of me and my little sis during our stay in Mesa with my grandparents.

Our Room is DONE aka hard work is over:)

So yesterday Zach and I dove head first into the rest of the work we needed to do to get our room ready for the ever nearing wedding;) We painted, which didn't take near as much time as the prep work, bought baseboards, painted baseboards, installed the baseboards and cleaned! We had so much fun talking and working although neither one of us want to paint anything else for a couple of months. Pictures will follow shortly so everyone can see our marvelous work!!!!

Fun Stuff

Well, Zach and I are both knee deep in stuff but lucky for us we still find time to have a blast, and be a little crazy if I might say so myself. Last Friday night the Orem institute had a formal date night where there was dinner and dancing. It was fun to get a little dressed up, yes only a little. We didn't get the "prom dress memo" but it was fun all the same.

Hard Work part 1

So Zach and I decided that we wanted to make a sanctuary of our soon to be new bedroom. It's previous tenant, Christopher Hawkins, had painted the walls bright royal blue, not exactly what I had in mind. So, last Saturday, Zach and I started the long painting process. We moved furniture, sanded down bumpy walls, puttied the holes and then texturized all the walls. As of right now...the walls look worse than the did before but by the end of this week they will be beautimous!!!

Zach and I went a little crazy when it came to the inevitable paint fight...

Baby blessings

In the past couple of weeks, we've all had so much fun attending two wonderful baby blessings in the Stailey family. The first was Seth's and the second Duncan's. The two are so adorable. Congrats to their awesome families!!!

Wedding Planning Update #1

Wedding plans are going quite smoothly. Invitations should be coming in Wednesday or Thursday and we'll be getting them ready for about a week. Then they'll be on their way out to all ya'll. The reception center has pulled through and been a great decision. They are doing everything we needed and beyond. Thanks to all of you who have offered help and congratulations. We really do appreciate each and every one of you and love you so much! We'll get another update up in about a week or so!

Clear Horizons Academy Gala/Auction

This weekend was a fun one for Zach and I. Friday night Zach suprised me with tickets to High School Musical 3. I loved it...poor Zach...he was a good sport. Saturday night we attended a huge event for Clear Horizons Academy...aka my current employer. It was fun to watch people laugh and bid on items Zach nor I could imagine ever affording. Dinner was served as well and it was delicious...except I wasn't a big fan of the chicken;) Anywho...It was an exciting weekend. Maybe not so much for Zach but I enjoyed it.

Football

So here I sit on a lovely Saturday morning asking myself what on earth shall I do? Zach and his close friend, Chris, are heading up to Salt Lake to go to the Ute's football game...without me. What perplexes me you may ask, I like football more than he does. bummer. This also following BYU's bitter loss to TCU. I guess it's just not my week for college football. GO BYU! Zach will most likely be deleting this post as soon as he gets back...seeing that he is a fan of any team other than BYU. What a couple eh? :) Miss you all! -Bailee

Temple Square

Two of our close friends got married in the Salt Lake Temple a couple of weeks ago. Zach and I love to take any chance we get to go up and enjoy the beauty of temple square. I had the opportunity to do the Bride's hair as well as watch her niece as the ceremony took place, and Zach, of course, attended the ceremony. We loved spending time taking pictures and taking in all the happiness....What a great place to be!!!

The happy couple:)

Hehe...Happy couple #2!

The Blog :)

So Zach and I are now here, starting the blog that all married/engaged couples inevitably begin. I guess it makes sense, we're starting a new chapter in our lives so we have to write it down somewhere. To be honest, Zach is focusing on a 4 page paper...I think he could care less about this new little hobby we're picking up:) I'm starting this before the wedding so we can keep everyone updated on the plans, pictures and other useless bits of information:)
