Thoroughly Modern....MINDY!!

This is just a little shout out to Zach's aunt Mindy! We went and saw her preform in the opening night of Thoroughly Modern Millie and we loved it!! Mindy was spectacular and she's far too humble to admit it. We enjoyed watching all the talented actors, especially Mindy. We love you!!!

Too much fun! update update update.

Zach has officially been home for two weeks!! Woot Woot. It's so fun having him here. I really do enjoy every minute I have with him. Today we purchased a mountain bike for me so I can try and keep up with him when we go down to Moab and hit the Rockies:) He amazes me more and more each day. We have had fun sitting in our cute apartment enjoying homework. Ok so we enjoy it a little, or maybe it's just me.

Finals are approaching quickly. It'll be nice for Zach to be done with school for the summer so he can travel without worrying about school. As for me I start classes again on May 6. I'm taking Calc 2 and 3 over the summer along with a power yoga class:) This fall I'll be taking Biology, Physics for Scientists and Engineers, Development of the adolescent student, and Math teaching in Secondary Education. I'm really excited. These are the last Prereqs before I apply for the Secondary Ed program in the fall. Hopefully I'll start the program in January and finish soon.

Zach and I had the chance to visit the Salt Lake Temple with five other couples from my family an do some family temple work. It was so amazing and the veil seemed so thin even with my lack of knowledge of those whom I was doing work for. I couldn't help but repeat the words to I love to see the temple over and over in my head. What a special place. I'm excited to share that joy with my family in the eternities!

Last of all, Zach and I are planning on going camping a lot this summer so if any of you have any great spots you don't mind sharing (most likely in the central Utah area) we would love to try 'em out. We got some great camping gear from our dear family and friends from the wedding and we can't wait to use it all!

Easter Morning

This weekend has been just amazing. Number 1. I've spent it with my sweetheart and Number 2. I've been able to reflect on my testimony of Christ and pause to remember all the many blessing's he has offered me.

Zach and I woke up and took our first family Easter pictures. They'll be better next year when we're not doing them five minutes before church.

As we took pictures and drove to church I couldn't help feeling unsurpassable gratitude for the biggest blessing so far, our eternal marriage and family. His plan is so wonderful and today I sat in reverence and awe as my heart was filled with the joy of my Savior. He loves us and each day I try and show Zach that my growing love for him is slowing becoming like the Savior's love. Through the events that we celebrate this time of year we were shown how great that love really was and is.

Sacrament was amazing as speakers testified that He lives and that we must build a relationship with him. In Relief Society, the insructor had produced an amazing presentation that reviewed the Savior's life with music and motion picture. The spirit again testified of the love Christ has for me and for all those around me. I have new resolve to love all those around me like the Savior does and it will change lives. I love each and every one of you and I love my Savior. I'm so glad families are forever because I never want to leave mine.

HAPPY EASTER!

My Birthday...Late I know

So my birthday was almost a month ago but I just barely got the chance to transfer the pictures over from Zach's camera so here they are! Since Zach was out of town th girls decided we needed to have a party! Katie made the amazing cake and we headed out to Zupas and went to see Bride Wars. Oh I'm so glad the days of wedding planning are behind us and the bliss of marriage is here to stay;) We came back the the apartment for games and cake. Brock wasn't feeling well so katie left early, so sad she couldn't be included in the picture taking fun.

Surprise!!

I came home last night to find a husband on my coffee table! Not just any old husband...MINE!!! Yay for me. It was the best surprise I've ever had, thanks to Zach!
